Mobile Number Porting Process Update

From 11 April 2011

As a result of a new EU Regulatory Framework for electronic communications, the Mobile Number Porting (MNP) process has changed from two days to one day.

The current process has been retained; however the PACs will be issued either immediately over the phone or by SMS within two hours.

Requests to port on the next working day received before 6pm will be ported next working day, whilst those received after 6pm will be ported on the next working day plus one day.

(N.B. A working day is defined as Mon to Fri excluding bank holidays).
