Orange Tariff Refresh Update
Orange has confirmed some additional changes to the April tariff refresh. The highlights are listed below.
Business Solo
- Unlimited WiFi (FUP 750MB for use in BT Openzone hotspots) is now standard on ALL Solo and SIM Only plans for connections made between 4 April 2011 and 30 June 2011 (previously 18 and 24 month Solo only)
- During the above offer period, WiFi has been removed from the mobile browsing flexible and chargeable extra. The flexible / chargeable extra will be 750MB of data only
- Orange Maps is not available as a flexible extra
iPhone
- Customers connecting an iPhone on a new Solo plan must connect a data bundle - using either an iPhone add-on or the flexible / chargeable extra data bundle
5% Line Rental Discount on Business Solo and Sense Upgrades
- For customers upgrading plans from April 2009
- Existing customers who are on a Solo/Sense plan from April 2009 onwards will be eligible for a 5% discount on their line rental at upgrade
- For customers on a Sense plan, the discount will be applicable to the lead handset only
- The discount is also applicable for existing customers upgrading to the new Sense and Solo plans
Panther Extra 30
- New enhanced tariff to support Window Phone 7 devices
- Panther Extra 30 will include 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 750MB data, Push email and unlimited BT Openzone WiFi access
- Available for Windows Phone 7 devices only and should not be sold on BlackBerry
Mobile Broadband
- All old plans removed - BEW Lite, 9-5, 5-9 and unlimited
- Replaced with BEW 1GB, BEW 3GB and BEW 10GB
