Pay As You Go SIM activation
By the end of May all new Orange PAYG SIM cards will be subject to a new activation process.
The customer will simply need to put their SIM into a compatible handset and turn the handset on to trigger the activation process.
Additionally, to protect your commission against claw back the customer must top up by at least £10 within the first 90 days of connection and they must activate and use the handset with the paired SIM.
It is imperative that you keep adequate records of your PAYG customer base so that any non-payment of commission could be queried if necessary.
Call Abroad SIMs from Mainline stock will currently remain subject to the old activation period - the customer calls Orange Customer Services or the dealer registers the SIM through Enable.
