The Mainline Club

What is it?
As a part-owned distributor with a strong working partnership with Orange, we have access to a variety of exclusive benefits that we can pass on to our customers.

These exclusive benefits have been packaged together into the Mainline Club. The Club rewards dealers based on connection performance and the quality of business they give to Mainline and Orange.

How do I become part of the Club?
Membership is by invitation only, but that doesn’t mean you can’t aim to be invited to join. It is NOT about rewarding the big businesses and penalising the smaller ones. Of course, volume is a key element, but so is quality and so is value.

Our decision to invite a dealer into the Mainline Club is based on a number of criteria. These include customer spend (ARPU), length of time customers stay with Orange (tenure), churn, fraud and volume.

On-going membership depends on a dealer’s ability to continue to deliver across the board on these criteria - volume on its own is not enough. If you wish to be considered for membership then please contact your Dealer Support Executive for more details.

What are the benefits of being in the Club?
There are a number of significant benefits to being in the Club;

 On-going revenue share

What is ongoing revenue share?
It is perhaps the most significant addition to Orange’s commissions and remuneration plans since it launched in 1994, offering dealers the opportunity to earn up to 8% of their customers’ monthly billed revenue in addition to current connection commissions.

How does ongoing revenue work?
Dealers will receive a percentage of the billed monthly revenue (BMR) for the life of the contract. BMR is affected by the level of churn, returns, disconnections and fraud. Essentially, the higher the BMR, the greater the revenue share (the percentage can be as much as 8% depending on the tenure of customers).

Revenue share was available for new connections from 1st June 2006 onwards, with the first payment due for those connections in month 7, which means the original Club members are due their first payments this month for connections made in June 2006.

Why would ‘Orange Preferred Stockist Status’ make a difference to my business? 
‘Orange Preferred Stockist’ status is an official accreditation from Orange that recognises your status as an exceptional Orange reseller and will set you apart from your competitors. In addition, Orange are looking at how they can market this accreditation more effectively to consumers, which will make it an even more sought after stamp of quality in the independent channel.

But what’s the Catch?
There isn’t one! Club membership is by invitation only, but all dealers will be considered as long as you can perform against the criteria as outlined above. You also need to commit to transacting 100% of your Orange connections through Mainline.

The Club isn’t just another marketing initiative, it’s a suite of benefits and exclusive incentives designed to reward our most valuable customers and to encourage them to continue to grow.
